Method
Asset Decision Hub is the surface where early-asset decisions are made and defended. The portfolio sits on one canvas, every asset with its current stage, the next gate, the gating evidence, the TPP variant that is in play, and the investment case behind it. Gate decisions are framed as evidence-against-threshold and the decision memo is generated from the same data the committee sees. Scenarios run on the same model, so a kill, a re-scope or a re-prioritisation can be tested before it is taken to committee. The hub writes into TPP Studio, Model Studio, Forecasting Studio, Evidence Gap Console and the Founders Decision Log so the decision is operational, not a slide.
Assumptions
- Stage-gate criteria are written down and agreed at the portfolio level, not invented at the meeting.
- Each asset has a current TPP variant in TPP Studio that the hub can reference.
- Investment-case assumptions are versioned and refreshable when the forecast or model updates.
Limitations
- Early-asset eNPVs carry wide uncertainty, the hub presents bands, not point estimates.
- A hub cannot substitute for committee judgment; it makes the basis for the call explicit.
- Real-option value depends on credible decision points downstream, if those are vague, the option premium is too.
