MSL Performance Console
Insight quality, coaching cues and territory analytics in one view.
Shortlist it, send it over — we come back with the shape we'd actually recommend.
What msl performance console actually is.
A performance layer for field medical, insight quality via the Insight Score, coaching cues per MSL, territory coverage and KPI benchmarking, all joined up to engagement data and field insight themes rather than read from a separate CRM dashboard.
Built for MSL leaders where the question is not 'who is working hard?' but 'who is moving the conversation?', and 'what is the coaching signal we should give them this week?'.
- Insight Score performance per MSL and territory
- Coaching cues per MSL, not just leadership dashboards
- Territory coverage and gap-to-target
- Optimisation cues joined to strategic listening imperatives
- Live wiring into Field Medical Excellence, Engagement OS and Field Insights Engine
Add the pieces you'd want and we'll build a shortlist you can review, reorder and send over. No pricing wall, no commitment — we come back with what we'd actually recommend, including anything you don't need.

Inputs
- MSL roster with territory assignment, indication coverage and tier-1 KOL responsibility
- Interaction log per MSL, scientific exchange, advisory, insight capture, med info, congress, speaker prep, with claim anchors
- Rubric-scored interaction quality with reviewer (medical director or field lead) and coaching notes
- KPI targets per cycle (tier-1 coverage, insights per MSL, quality threshold, debrief windows, advisory follow-up, med info loop closure)
- Downstream surfaces consuming MSL output, Field Insights Engine, Advisory Board Studio, Medical Information Hub, KOL Network, Publication & Congress Planner, Evidence Gap Console
Method
The Console reads MSL activity from the system of record and joins it to the claim hierarchy, the tiered KOL list, the advisory and med info backlog, and the congress calendar. Every interaction is anchored to a claim before it counts; every insight carries a citation; every territory rolls up to a coverage and quality number, not just a visit tally. KPIs are reported with target versus actual and a named owner, quarter-level honest, not dashboard-flattering. The Console identifies under-resourced territories, coaches at the interaction level using rubric scores, and routes signal downstream so Field Insights, Advisory Board, Med Info and the Publication Planner see the same numbers the medical director sees.
Assumptions
- Interaction quality is rubric-scored by named reviewers; activity volume without quality scoring is excluded from the KPI roll-up.
- Tier-1 KOL list is owned by the KOL Network and the Console consumes it; coverage gaps surface but the tiering decision lives upstream.
- Congress debrief and advisory follow-up windows are contractual; the Console enforces, it does not negotiate.
Limitations
- Insight quality depends on capture discipline, a missing claim anchor demotes the interaction from the KPI even when the conversation was real.
- Territory comparisons are like-for-like at the indication level; cross-TA comparisons need separate weighting before they are credible.
