The central surface. Runs targeted literature reviews, meta-analyses and living evidence pipelines, with structured outputs that feed TPP Builder, Narrative Workbench, NMA/ITC, Model Studio, Burden Engine, GVD and HTA Console. One canonical evidence base, kept current.

## What it is

The hub of the product. Every other surface (TPP, GVD, NMA, Model Studio, Burden Engine, HTA Console) reads its evidence from here, so the numbers and the citations stay consistent across the whole organisation.

It runs targeted literature reviews, pooled analyses and living evidence pipelines on the questions your team actually asks. It does not replace human review or generate claims on its own. It assembles, structures and refreshes the evidence base your specialists then reason over.

## How we run it

1. **Frame the question** — Lock the PICO, eligibility and outcomes with the team that will use the answer. Every refresh runs against this contract.

2. **Pull and screen** — Federated search across PubMed, Embase, ClinicalTrials.gov, congress feeds and internal libraries. AI triages screening, a reviewer signs off.

3. **Synthesise and structure** — Extraction into a typed schema, pooled effects where appropriate, GRADE certainty and a structured summary other surfaces can consume.

4. **Publish and keep live** — Outputs ship to the synthesis bus. Refresh runs on a cadence you set, with change flags so nothing silently drifts.
